Alaska 100% RAW Powerlifting is currently holding its 2023 Sponsorship Drive. Powerlifting is an individual sport that requires dedication and commitment. Without the support of our sponsors, many lifters who have reached a level of success that allows them to compete in a much larger venue will be unable to compete.  Costs associated with competing outside of Alaska prevents many lifters from fully testing their abilities. Sponsorship plays an important role in our organization, we have developed a culture where everyone recognizes our Sponsors for their support, and in turn all of our lifter, families and friends support them every chance they get.

Over the past five years our membership throughout the state has grown.  We are hoping this year to upgrade our equipment and hold several additional events. It is my goal to qualify more lifters to participate in larger meets outside of Alaska (i.e. the World Championships) and assist them as they rise to the upper level of our sport. Through our Sponsors we are able to fulfill our pledge to train, lead and support our members, while always maintaining the highest standards of honesty, integrity and loyalty to the athletes, fans of our sport.

Powerlifting is a tailor made sport for Alaska.  All of our training and competitions are performed indoors. This allows us to practice and participate year round. With the increase in Membership of Students across the state, it gives them a chance to train their bodies as well as their character and keep them out of trouble.  They leave every workout disciplined, with a good feeling of accomplishment and self-worth.  These values move our young lifters to become better students, and productive members of our community.  Even though Powerlifting is more an individual sport we also have Teams competing with each other similar to Wrestling in the High Schools. Due to budget cuts our schools have to do away with more and more athletic programs.  I hope to see over the next three years every High School with a Powerlifting Team competing.  We offer the venue with minimal costs involved for the schools.
